My brother-in-law, Jeff, got a Wii for Christmas. We've spent many hours playing with them, and every once in a while Greg would say "I think I want a Wii." However, this statement was usually followed by "But they're so expensive," or "But we'll get sick of it like the XBOX." In my family, it's tradition to buy the latest video game system as a wedding present. Yes, that's right, as a wedding present. Therefore, my family gave us an XBOX when we got married. As poor newlyweds, we spent many, many hours playing the XBOX because we simply couldn't afford to do anything else. But that time has passed and the XBOX has sat in our living room unplayed in months. Possibly a full year. The fact that we never owned more than 4 games contributed to us getting sick of it. For what it's worth, I do like the Wii and I think it is more interactive than the XBOX, so you don't get bored as quickly. As Greg's comments always ended with the decision not to get a Wii, we continued to to play with Jeff and Cori's Wii.
Until today. Today Greg again brought up that he thought we should get a Wii. But after the discussion again ended with not getting one due to price, etc., I got on Craigslist. Just 15 minutes before I got on, a woman had posted that they were selling their Wii. It included the console, all cords and sensor bar, two remotes, two nun chucks, a charging station, Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Fit, and the Wii Fit board for $375. Which is about $50 cheaper than buying it normally. I called to verify it, and discovered that they had only played it 3 times because they had a PS3 too and liked it better. So after Greg debated for an hour, I went to pick it up. My real vice with the Wii is MarioKart. We have a $20 gift certificate to Best Buy, so we are waiting until they have it in stock to buy it there and save a little money. In the meantime, I am going to get better at tennis so I can beat Jeff and Cori!

Ha ha! I love it. My fear was that you had sold the XBox. I'm glad you got one though, and it sounds like more than a deal. And by the way, your family (parents) got you a little more than a game system for your wedding. But you should be grateful, as you don't know where your marriage would be if you hadn't beaten Greg at tennis all those times. Who wins now? We'll have to play next time we see you guys.
haha you'll NEVER beat us at tennis!!! or mario kart again!!! ok.. in all fairness, you'll probably beat me, but good luck beating jeff!!
